The Mountain View Garden Club is pleased to award Annual Book Scholarships in the amount
of $500 for books and supplies.
 Congratulations Graduates! Class of 2010 Colleen Haley, Mountain View High School, and Alexandra Coolican, Forest City Regional High School, were presented scholarships at recent awards ceremonies. Colleen will attend Coastal Carolina University majoring in Marine Science. Alexandra will attend Marywood University majoring in Biotechnology.

Mickayla McHale, Forest City High School Chelsea Marcho, Mountain View High School Scholarship Eligibility: The student must be a graduating Mountain View or Forest City High School senior enrolled in a college or university or certificate program to pursue a career related to land, plants or the environment. Some of the possible majors include agriculture, forestry, biology and landscape architecture. Preference will be given to students living in the area 
served by the Mountain View Garden Club.
The check will be made payable to the bookstore, on behalf of the awardee, at the school or program in which the student is enrolled. (Note: in 2010, the scholarship amount will be increased from $400. to $500.) To download a scholarship form click here. |
