10th Annual Plant Exchange & Marketplace
June 1, 2014 Sunday

Clifford Twp Fire Company Picnic Grounds, Route 106, Clifford.

Plant Exchange & Sale from 1:00 until 4:00 with many perennials for sale from our local gardens or you can exchange two potted perennials from your garden for two of like size and value.

The Marketplace is open from 11:30 until 4:00  
   • Local artisans selling their wares: photographs, jewelry, mustard, maple syrup, soaps and lotions, garden items, honey,                               paintings, stone work, garden equipment, baskets and much more.
  • Second Hand Rose ~  The stand grows every year with lots of good, used garden items, dishes, baskets and knickknacks.
  • Lunch ~  The firemen sold hamburgers and hot dogs.
  • Entertainment ~  Eli Marsh entertained us with live music.

8th Annual Plant Exchange & Marketplace
Sunday, June 3 at the Clifford Fire Company Picnic Grounds. 
• The Marketplace was held from 11:30 til 4:00 and included food vendors, as well as local artisans selling paintings, photographs, jewelry, mustard, maple syrup, garden items, shrubs, ornamental plants and much more. 
• The Plant Exchange was held from 1:00 til 4:00.  People were invited to bring two potted perennials to exchange for two plants. There were many perennials for sale from area gardens.


7th Annual Plant Exchange & Marketplace 

June 5, 2011 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Ross home at Crosswind Farm, Bunnell Farm Road near Elk Mountain.  The event included perennials from club members' gardens for exchange, plants for purchase and numerous local vendors selling paintings, jewelry, pottery, soaps, candles and much more!


6th Annual Plant Exchange & Marketplace 

June 6, 2010 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the home of Connie Tellep.

Parking available at the Clifford Twp Vol. Fire Co. picnic grounds on Rt. 106. Everyone was welcome (not required) to bring 2 potted perennials to exchange. The event included perennials from club members' gardens for exchange, plants for purchase and numerous local vendors selling paintings, jewelry, pottery, soaps, candles and much more!


5th Annual Plant Exchange & Marketplace 

Sunday, June 7, 2009 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the home of Dr. & Mrs. Russell Swetter on Main Street, Clifford.

Everyone was welcome to (although not required) to bring 2 potted perennials to exchange. The event included perennials from club members' gardens for exchange, plants for purchase and numerous local vendors selling paintings, jewelry, pottery, soaps, candles and much more!


4th Annual Plant Exchange and Marketplace 

Sunday, June 1, 2008 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m at Bell Mountain Farm (between Clifford & Tompkinsville).

 Everyone was invited to bring 2 potted perennials to exchange. The event included perennials from club members' gardens for exchange, plants for purchase and 20 local vendors selling paintings, jewelry, pottery, soaps, candles and much more! As a special feature, Rob Rave of Rave Landscaping  provided tours of the beautiful gardens.


The 3rd Annual Plant Exchange

Sunday, June 3, 2007 at Crystal Park Blvd., Crystal Lake.

Gardeners exchanged perennials from their gardens. Beautiful selections of perennials grown by Garden Club members were also available for purchase. A Marketplace featured vendors selling a variety of crafts and unique products including watercolors, jewelry, pottery, iron gardenware, flavored dipping oils, dolls, hand painted clothing, and much more.


The 2nd Annual Plant Exchange

Sunday, June 4, 2006, at the home of Kathy Flora.

Everyone was invited to trade two potted plants for two of equal size or buy plants donated by garden club members. Beautiful selection of perennials, herbs and annuals were available from In The Dell Herb Farm and Gunn Hill Nurseries. Other vendors included Clay Chic, Heather's Handpainting, Metal Urge, Stony Meadow Pottery, and Whistlehill Watercolors. Treasure hunt.


Plant Exchange 2005
On Sunday, June 5, 2005, a very successful Plant Exchange & Sale was held by the Mountain View Garden Club. The event took place at the home and gardens Vicky & Jerry Lewandowski near Elk Mountain.
